Fun Things Visits Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey

A week before the holidays my family and I had the chance to visit Adventure Aquarium in Camden NJ. This was our first visit and it will not be our last. The aquarium is currently holding it's Christmas Celebration, so the aquarium is decorated for the holidays and the shows have a holiday theme.

The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington DC

A few weeks ago my family and I visited the Smithsonian Air and Space Museu m in Washington DC, which is less than 2 hours away from the Philadelphia area. The other bonus for your 2 hour drive is admission to the museum is FREE! And if your are patient you can score a free parking spot on the mall area.

Fun Things Visits Aloft Hotel in National Harbor MD

Recently, my family and I traveled to Washington DC to visit the sights and we stayed in the Aloft hotel in National Harbor Maryland, which is about 20 minutes outside DC. When we arrived at the hotel and walked in we were a little confused but quickly realized that you had to take the elevator to the second floor to check in. We were warmly greeted by the Aloft staff saying Aloha. After a quick check in we took the elevators to our room. My youngest noticed the floor of the elevator changed colors when you stepped on it. This entertained them every time we were in the elevator. Our room was very clean and roomy for a family of 4. Aloft hotels is a new high-design/low-cost brand from Starwood Hotels & Resorts. The hotel and rooms are designed with natural materials and textures like cork and wood, with loft-inspired, 9 foot high guest rooms, state-of-the-art technology, modern amenities, and signature “r & r” beds.

Cape May NJ

Summers ending and we wanted to provide an insiders view of some of our favorite places to take kids in Cape May NJ.

The video below highlights the Cape May Lighthouse and Sunset Beach. The lighthouse is an excellent place to take your family. The lighthouse is still a working navigational aid to ships marking the beginning of the Delaware Bay. Admission is $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for kids. The Lighthouse is on the grounds of Cape May Point State Park. This is a beautiful, natural and undisturbed stretch of beach that is free to visitors. However the beach is not watched by lifeguards in all locations.

Atlantic City New Jesery

Recently, my family and I traveled to Atlantic City NJ, many people think that Atlantic City is just for adults, but there is a lot of family friendly activities!

We stayed at Harrah's Atlantic City, we choose this because it had a kids pool. The pool is small and during spring break it was crowed so we didn't spend much time at the pool. They also have a game room that is adjacent to the pool area. The room we got was a bay view and the kids loved being so high up and checking the view of the water.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Walt Disney World

If you have a princess or two in your household you may be interested in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, there are to location in Walt Disney World. There is a location in Downtown Disney located in The World of Disney Store and the second location is located in the Magic Kingdom inside Cinderella's Castle. The theme behind the Boutique is Fairy Godmothers in Training work their magic on your little princess.
